  • Research summary: 2nd Edition 2020

    We produced an updated ‘2nd Edition’ of the Research Summary we first produced in 2016, in response to requests from people pioneering the use of music therapy in countries where it is not a widely recognised or established form of intervention.

  • Musical instrument fund: Romania 2020

    We donated new musical instruments to Centrul de Educatie Incluziva Nr.1 (Oradea), to replenish their musical instruments which have been much used within their music programme since their introductory training with us back in 2001.

    Our 10th delivery of this Distance Learning course, which comprises a series of 7 monthly tutorials and written assignments, participation in an Intensive Study Weekend – hosted by Centrul Scolar pentru Educatie Incluziva, Oradea – and a supervised Practical Assignment. Despite COVID disruptions, out students successfully completed their learning with us.

    We returned to Centrul de Educatie Incluziva in Oradea, to support a workshop led by a Local Partner to nurture and inspire the use of music by the teachers at the school, who have been our Local Partners since 2002.

  • Conference participation: Brasov 2019

    Romania

    For the fourth year, the University of Transilvania organised a national music therapy conference in Brasov, at which we were delighted to present and give workshops to participants from around the country, as well as to attend many presentations given by people across Romania with an interst in music therapy (including some of our Local Partners).
