The Distance Learning Programme enables caregivers to incorporate the benefits of music into what they can offer the children with disabilities in their care.
The 12-month programme comprises a series of online tutorials, one practical Intensive Study Weekend, written assignments and a supervised practical assignment.
Originally developed in 2009 for caregivers in Romania, the Distance Learning Programme has since been extended to the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Georgia and Jordan. It has also been adapted for Myanmar, although to date, the local context has prevented us delivering the course. All content, moderation, participant support and in-person training are provided in the country’s national language.
