Project Myanmar:
We urgently need help to secure just under 5,000 USD (just over
£3,000) to deliver a music therapy skill-sharing project to local
staff working with disabled children in Myanmar (Burma).

We have been working with Tsvia Horesh, an Israeli Music Therapist,
to develop a project destined for a special school in Yangon,
Myanmar this September. It is estimated that
there are more than 1 million physically disabled people in
Myanmar, the majority of whom don’t receive sufficient care.
There is only one public special school for physically
and mentally disabled children which is where this project is
destined.

Tsvia has successfully recruited a volunteer team to deliver the
project and we have worked together to make sure her Local Partners
have everything in place to receive the project. Despite
raising an impressive $2,500 to date, Tsvia’s fundraising campaign
has fallen dramatically behind and this isn’t something we had
budgeted for this year. Please contribute to help us make sure
this project can happen.
