The students in the Distance Learning Programme in Romania are currently finalising their Theoretical Part of the course and will soon be starting their Practical Assignments. On 21-22 September the whole cohort will get together for the Intensive Study Training, a weekend packed with experiential learning.

Led by Monika Manases (Course Moderator), Larisa Neculai (Course Coordinator), and Eleonora Roșca (Supervisor), the weekend will be packed with hands-on experiences that allow students to apply the knowledge they’ve accumulated over the past eight months of online learning through reading the tutorials and completing the Written Assignments.

This year’s cohort brings together students from across Romania, as well as, for the first time, a participant from the Republic of Moldova. The Intensive Study Training is meant to strengthen their learning and ensure the students feel confident in running their music sessions with children with disabilities during the Practical Assignment.

The Intensive Study Training represents a unique opportunity for peer learning, networking, and professional growth, contributing to the strengthening of the use of music within therapeutic spaces across Romania. We hope the students and the facilitators will have a great time together at the Intensive Study Training.

I am happy that I met colleagues from all over the country during the Intensive Study Weekend… Both my colleagues and the trainers are role models of people and professionals in a field that is quite new to me.
