Our Interactive Music-Making students recently came together for their Presentation Day; a chance to consolidate their learning and celebrate their achievements over the past eight months.

Our seven early years practitioners presented on their experiences over the course of their Practical Assignments. Each of our students reflected on how their music sessions have made a difference for the young children they work with, while also consolidating their learning and knowledge of key theorists underpinning the interactive music-making approach.

Working in 7 different early years settings across London, our students collectively enabled 32 children to participate in Interactive Music-Making sessions over the course of the programme. A further 407 children will now have the opportunity to access music as part of their early years provision.

Take a look at our 2023/24 Impact Summary in full here.

One child barely spoke when they first started. By the last session, they sang a song all by themselves.
