A huge thank you to DUCKS for raising
a fantastic £300 for us at their recent Sports Day cake sale
and for helping us to promote the Radio 4 Appeal. Their
contribution is going towards some work we have planned
in Romania in 2013, replenishing our Local Partners’ musical
instruments that have survived many years of enthusiastic
exploration and playing. The types of musical instruments
they need for their music programmes are prohibitively expensive to
buy from within Romania, as they are all imported. We
are really pleased to offer new musical instruments
to people who have been showing long lasting dedication to
developing music therapy, and achieving great results with the
children and adults they work with. We hope Tim will go out
and see some of these instruments in action in 2013… Keep an eye
