Following Alexia’s fascinating visit to the Musicians without Borders and Sounds of Palestine teams in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, we are starting to think about how we might develop our partnership and offer the Distance Learning Programme again in 2017. This has proven to be a very effective way for local people to learn how they can use music with young children with additional needs and there are a number of enthusiastic social workers and other practitioners keen to train with us next year. You can hear one of our Distance Learning Programme participants from this year, putting her skills into practice in the clip below. The extract is from the Goodbye Song with which Fabienne finished her music session in a kindergarten.
