Update from music therapist Clare who is delivering a 6 week skill-sharing project at Abbeyfield’s Care Home in the Highlands:

Last week saw the first day of individual work, a group session with day care clients and a large singing group with residents.

It was a great start to our training and I was delighted to meet the staff with whom I will be working. I met some fabulous residents and shared some really positive musical experiences with them.

I will be working with 4 great members of the care team one of whom is a guitarist/ song writer and another plays flamenco guitar…how awesome!

Looking forward to next week already 🙂
