We are excited to be embarking on a new introductory training project here in the UK, in partnership with MacIntyre No Limits Beds, Herts and Milton Keynes branch.
MacIntyre is a national charity which provides learning, support and care for more than 1,500 children, young people and adults who have a learning disability and/or autism. The No Limits Programme is one of the charity’s outreach services, providing alternative learning opportunities for young people who struggle to engage in a conventional school setting.
This project will be focussing on providing some of the MacIntyre No Limits staff with new skills to work with the children and young people with learning disabilities and higher sensory needs they support. They are eager to learn how they can use music to enhance the quality of their interaction with these students and to contribute to their wider well-being. It will be delivered by Music Therapist Susanna Bajali.
We will be sharing more MacIntyre updates in the New Year, so keep checking our website and Facebook page for further developments.
