Our Distance Learning Programme 2019-20 will start later this month. Thanks to Ahmad Al’Azzeh for his hard work making sure people locally know about this training opportunity and that it reaches people working with some of the most vulnerable children living in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
It takes a team to make this project happen. This year the team comprises Liz Coombes and Saphia Abou-Amer (the two music therapists who will be delivering the all-important Intensive Study Training in the autumn, giving the students two days of interactive workshops and teaching to bring their online learning to life), Magda Pata and Fabienne van Eck (who provide skilful moderation and co-ordination during the online tutorials and written assignments), and Cathy Rowland (who provides supervision to support our students’ when they start putting their new music skills into practice – as Jihan is doing in the picture to the right). Additionally, this project would not be possible without the continued support of Musicians without Borders with whom we are delighted to be working in partnership. We will bring you updates as the course gets underway.
