Our Distance Learning Programme has been running in Romania since 2009 and we have now opened applications for the 2024 course, which will begin in February.
What is the Distance Learning Programme?
This programme provides students with practical guidance in how to develop a therapeutic music programme they can offer to the children in their care.
Who is the Programme for?
The Distance Learning Programme is for caregivers looking to develop their skills to use music to address developmental, social and emotional needs. Students are not required to have existing musical skills. This course is relevant to anyone working with children who have a physical or learning disability, or social impairment (e.g. autism) under the age of 10 years. These might include:
- Autistic Spectrum Disorders
- Down Syndrome
- Developmental delay
- Communication difficulties
- Hearing impairment
- Visual Impairment
- Cerebral Palsy
- Communication disorders
