Now approaching its thirteenth year of delivery, and the third year in collaboration with our IMM Associate organisations, we are really pleased to welcome Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation as the newest Associate organisation to join the delivery of our 2024-25 Interactive Music-Making programme.

Our thanks to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, particularly Dr. Clare Flower and Juliet Wood, for their support of this year’s Interactive Music-Making course.

We are delighted that Juliet Wood, Clinical Lead for Music Therapy at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, will be contributing to our teaching team as a Guest Tutor this year. Juliet shares her enthusiasm for extending access to music in the early years below:

As providers of music therapy for young children and families, we are passionate about the vital role that music plays in supporting development and wellbeing in the early years. We’re really pleased to be able to champion Interactive Music-Making and to support the course this year.

The Music Therapy Service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides music therapy for young children with significant and complex developmental needs and their families. They also run varied projects, developing services within maternity, neonatal care, and early years education. Their team work across three central London sites as well as community settings.
