We have seen how these practitioners have been able to use music sessions to offer their children opportunities for new experiences, a space to explore new ways of communicating and to develop relationships with others.

We are pleased to announce that this FREE training opportunity will be repeated for a second year, expertly led by Georgian music therapist Tako Jordania.

If you are a practitioner in Georgia inspired to learn more about the ways you can use music with young children with disabilities (under the age of 10 years), you can find out more here and apply to participate in the course using this form.

Don’t miss out on the chance to join the Distance Learning Programme in Georgia!

“Tako, what I learned from you and Jenny is that music therapy is completely different from teaching music, and the real therapy is following the child, not teaching them to play an instrument. Until now, I thought that if a child has talent, I should teach him to play, but it was more important to understand his resources, to lead him in ideas and to establish musical contact, real music therapy is amazing and I am lucky to have met you… Thank you for everything…. for your warm attitude…. For professionalism…. for humanity…. thank you thank you”
