After months of planning and preparation, we’re incredibly excited to finally let you know that we will be holding a live music and storytelling event in partnership with OneTrackMinds on:

Friday 3rd November at Hoxton Hall, London
Doors from 7pm

All profits from the event will go towards our work inspiring and supporting caregivers around the world to use music.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the format, OneTrackMinds is a live storytelling event which explores the transformative power of music, variously described as an entertaining cross between Desert Island Discs, The Moth Radio Hour & TED Talks.

The evening will see five storytellers take to the stage to share a true story of a song that changed their life in some way, and we’re thrilled to announce the first of our storytellers for the night: singer-songwriter Katie Melua!

Katie Melua

Originally from Kutaisi, Georgia, Katie Melua is one of Britain’s highest-selling recording artists.

Her career began in 2003 and saw her become the UK’s best-selling female artist as well as Europe’s highest selling female artist, receiving over 56 platinum awards.

After eight consecutive UK Top Ten albums, in March this year Katie released her ninth studio album, Love & Money.

Did you know?

We’ve been working in Georgia since 2011 and recently worked in Katie’s home town of Kutaisi, enabling practitioners to incorporate music into the support they provide to children with developmental delays and autism. Read more about our work in Kutaisi.
