One of the ways we have encouraged people to support our work is by making purchases online through charitable giving schemes. For a number of years there were three main platforms we had identified and chosen to promote; AmazonSmile, The Giving Machine and Give As You Live.

Unfortunately, AmazonSmile was discontinued in early 2023 as the company chose to pursue other avenues for its philanthropy. And this week we received notice that The Giving Machine’s Shop&Give platform will also now shut down, with the company partnering with Give As You Live to ensure people can still support the charities of their choice with their online purchases.

While it’s a shame to see the platform go, we’re seeing this as a perfect opportunity to remind all of you to take the simple step of signing up to Give As You Live to help raise funds for us.

It only takes a couple of minutes to sign up and start raising funds for us with every online purchase you make from over 6,000 retailers, including Boots, Waitrose, Tesco, Not On The High Street and even Just Eat!

You can even enable an automatic reminder notification when shopping online to ensure your purchase activates a donation.
