If you have been following our posts for a while, you will know our Local Partner Tamar (Tako) Zhordania, a Georgian music therapist with whom we’ve had the pleasure of working together numerous times in Georgia, including our recent introductory training at Open House.

Previously, we shared with you all a book ‘Art for Integration’ that Tako contributed to. But more recently, Tako has released her own book called ‘Musical Exercises‘ which is about music therapy training, including workshops, and also shares practices of hybrid methods and musical exercises for children in kindergartens, pre-schools and schools. The book is in Georgian and is to be published with the help of the Georgian Ministry of Culture, who is also planning to have the book translated into English.

Congratulations to Tako on the successful release of her new book and we know that many will find it an extremely useful tool to have in their pocket.
