Adaptation and change are the best things in order to improve one’s performance and the best quality of service to be given to patients.

Our work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) officially began in 2023, although our involvement dates back to initially being approached by a local practitioner in 2017.

The DRC faces significant challenges in its healthcare system, particularly in addressing needs exacerbated by ongoing conflicts. As comparable training is not available locally, our focus has been to develop the skills of a local practitioner who can respond to requests for introductory training in the therapeutic use of music.
